Why the future doesn't need us ?

Listening to the idea that machines can overthrow humans is hard to believe but could be a possibility with very high probability. Similar ideas were also expressed in popular science fiction movies such as Matrix and I-Robot but I have never realized the incumbent danger. On reading someone who has provided the whole world a new direction with his programming tools like UNIX operating system and Vi Editor makes me think in the similar way. Probably I am also a part of neo-ludditism or I am not, it doesn’t make a difference because we all need to re evaluate our technological progress. Are we going in the right direction? Should we retard the process of development? What should be the limit of it and is it the end of the world which we are approaching? There are many questions which remains unanswered in my mind after reading this article from Bill Joy.

Nature has given enough to meet man’s need but not enough to meet man’s greed”. The famous saying of Mahatma Gandhi echoes from somewhere nears the horizon. Man should stop being more and more greedy of technology. But is not the greed of seeking knowledge is good? In our pursuit we have got struck. Should we move forward or should we look backward. What are the solutions? I think Bill Joy himself has no answers at the end of writing this article. However an immediate action could be putting up a strong regulation on the development of GNR technologies. But this can only be a temporary treatment and not the permanent cure of the problem.

Maine pucha hai apka nam...

Bari shiddat se pucha hai maine apka nam
Khud batayengi ya muntazir rahoon umr tamam

Bismiallah ki tarah rakhoonga nam sar ankhon pe
phir sajda karoonga main uski subh aur sham

Voh qayamat ka din hoga jab tu hamnam ho jaye
sabz patton pe milayenge tab ham jam se jam

yeh kya moijza hai ki tu itna pakiza ban gaya
ghazal beabroo ho jaye ki kis tarah loon tera nam

muntazir= awaiting, bismillah: start in the name of Allah
sabz: green, hamnam: sharing same name, moijza: miracle

Sabr (Patience)

Sabr zamin hai teri azmaish ka
Jo furat khud na chali aye, tu use rok de

Shiddat-e-tashna-dahani tera kya imtehaan legi

zamin: guarantor, furat: stream of water,
Shiddate-e-tashna-dahani: thirst
farsh-e-aza: place for mourning
shimr: the person who killed Him

Unknown

He was the harbinger of truth
The peaceful calm and strong identity
Living in an old village
Giving directions to the land
Its occupation and future interests
His words were his best arms
Actions from the depth of contemplation
Experimenting that hidden philosophy
He lived in his own way
Protecting those beliefs
Which were never recognized
Where went those followers?
Promised to reciprocate
In the land of misery
With in that untouched spiritual abode
He lives like an unknown

Tamanna

koi nikla hai dil se tamanna ban ke

waqt thahar chuka hai tamasha ban ke

subh aur sham ke maikhanon main
rahta main kis qadar tanha ban ke

shab-e-akhir kashmash main
jalta hun main parvana ban ke

waqt kam hai phir bhi khayalon main
uski gali se nikloonga janaza ban ke

maikhana=bars, janaza=dead body
shab-e-akhir= last night

Glorified

Confessions from the past
Who will take care?
Learn from your mistakes
Why should I be?

I am the glorified soul
Should not be mistaken.
The spirit is flowing through my veins
And my heart enjoys impunity
Purified as if it was never defiled
Look into the pictures
They will speak you the truth.

Cherish the blossom of the evening flow.
The Morning dew will come to bow.
So far so I am
Omnipresent in the snow

World is Suffering

Born in a land of revolutionist thoughts how can one be so emotionless. The feelings and your desire will trade off. And sometimes it depend upon you how you decide your limits. Sky is infinite and the God has created a universe full of mystery. But there are places where you might not want to go, full of darkness and solitude, the one in a picture. There is calm and pleasure that you will never enjoy.

Because the world is suffering..........................
