Aulaad ki Pukaar (A Child's Voice in Mother's Womb)

Shikam-e-madar main baitha voh sonchta tha
Kya meri maan mujhe yun maar dalegi
Aj aisi kya beeti hai us pe Maula
Jo subh se na mili hai ab-e-hayat
Kis tarah ab milegi mujhe meri khuraq
Vada jo tune kiya tha, koi zariya bana

Kis qadar mahdood hun main is shikam main
Maut aur hayaat ke darmiyan,
Hai yeh nau (9) maah ki zindagi
Tujhe khabar nahin mere Maula
Jo mere sath, kisi aur ke ghar aya tha
Uski maan ne use zinda shikam main dafnaya tha

Jab se aisi koi khabar ati hai
Yeh nau(9) maah ki zindagi badtar nazar ati hai
Kis tarah tune mujhe apna banaya hai
Ek ek dane ke liye uska banaya hai
Voh bhi kya sonchti hogi ki kya baar hun main
Ji jise chahe voh ji ka janjaal hun main

Bas ek hi dua lab par mere ati hai
Uski khushi main maut bhi shakkar nazar ati hai
Zindagi phir jo mili to voh saza si hogi
Maut ab mere liye ek dua si hogi
Aye meri maan kaat de jo rabt hai mujhse
Koi pooche to kehde ki khabt hai mujhse


Shikam-e-madar: Womb of the mother; ab-e-hayat: water of life; shikam: womb

Below is just an attempt to translate my own poem which is very hard. Doesn't sounds like the one above

In his mother’s womb he was thinking,
Will my mother will kill me like this
What happens to her today?
Haven’t got a single drop of water
How will I get my sustenance? My Lord!
Which you have promised, find a way

How limited I am in this womb
Between Death and life
This living of 9 months
You don’t know my Lord!
The one who came to the other house with me
Was buried alive in his mother’s womb

Since then, whenever I get any news like this
This life of 9 months become even worst for me
How have you made me for you
Always asking for food and sustenance to her
How she must have be thinking of a load like me
Whom she likes and detest the most

Now only one prayer comes to my lips
In her happiness even death will taste sweeter
If still I remain alive it will be a punishment
Death will remain like a prayer to me
O mother! Kill all the connections which I have with you
If any one ask, tell him that I was just a madness
